Chain

Chain is one of the most versatile structural and security materials available - strong in tension, resistant to cutting, flexible in routing, and available in a range of grades to suit applications from garden decoration to load securing. Welded mild steel chain in bright zinc plated or self-coloured finish is the standard for general purpose applications: securing gates and sheds, creating temporary barriers, rigging loads for manual handling, supporting hanging items, and general utility use. Galvanised chain extends the application into exposed outdoor environments where moisture resistance is a priority. Stainless steel chain is specified where aesthetic quality or marine-grade corrosion resistance is required.
