Solvent Weld Waste Fittings

Solvent weld waste fittings create permanent, leak-free joints in plastic waste pipe without rubber seals, compression nuts, or mechanical connections - the solvent cement chemically fuses the pipe and fitting into a single continuous structure. Solvent welding is the method of choice for new-build and renovation waste plumbing where a permanent, vibration-resistant joint system is specified. The cement is applied to both the pipe end and the fitting socket, and the pipe is pushed into the fitting with a slight rotation and held for a few seconds while the solvent sets. A completed joint is ready for use within minutes and provides a bond that's typically stronger than the pipe itself. Unlike compression joints, solvent weld connections cannot work loose or be re-opened.
