Shower Riser Rails

A shower riser rail - also called a shower slide bar or adjustable rail - is the vertical bar fixed to the bathroom wall that holds the shower handset at an adjustable height and provides the fixed mounting point for the shower hose connection. At the DIY Hardware Store, our shower riser rails cover the standard adjustable wall-mounted bars used in domestic shower-over-bath and shower enclosure installations.

The riser rail allows the shower handset height to be adjusted to suit different users without tools - the sliding bracket that carries the handset holder slides up and down the rail and locks at any height. This makes a riser rail significantly more practical than a fixed wall bracket in a household with users of different heights, or where the shower is also used for bathing children who need the head positioned much lower than an adult would.
