Collection: Hookbolts & Nuts

A hook bolt combines the function of a bolt and a hook in a single component, providing a threaded shank that fixes into a nut or tapped fixing on one side while presenting a hook for rope, chain, or load attachment on the other. At the DIY Hardware Store, our hook bolts and nuts cover the sizes used in load hanging, tarpaulin tie-down, gate assembly, and a wide range of rigging and securing applications.

Hook bolts are used wherever a permanent or semi-permanent hanging point needs to be created through a panel, post, or structural element - passing through a clearance hole in the material with a nut securing from the back, and a hook presenting on the front face for attachment. They're commonly used on vehicle load areas, trailers, garden structures, and frames where tarpaulins, nets, bungee cords, and ratchet straps need a reliable attachment point.

Available in zinc-plated steel and galvanised finishes in standard sizes at the DIY Hardware Store, with matching nuts included or available separately.
