Wing Nuts

A wing nut is the hand-tightened fastener with two flat projecting wings that allow tightening and loosening by finger pressure alone, without the need for a spanner or wrench. For connections that need to resist vibration or higher loads, a spanner-driven nut with a nyloc insert provides better retention.
