Mirror Screws

Mirror screws are a decorative fixing with a functional purpose - they pass through a pre-drilled hole in the mirror glass and secure into the wall behind, holding the mirror firmly while presenting a decorative dome, disc, or chrome cap on the front face that conceals the screw head and provides a finished appearance. A mirror screw set consists of a screw (typically a countersunk machine screw), a rubber or nylon washer to isolate the glass from metal-to-metal contact, and a decorative cap that screws onto the exposed screw thread. The cap finishes the fixing point attractively and prevents the exposed screw from creating a visible distraction on the face of the mirror. Available in dome head, disc head, and flat cap styles in chrome, gold, and satin chrome finishes.

Pre-drilling through mirror glass requires a diamond-tipped drill bit used with water cooling - a service often available from glass suppliers if not already in the mirror specification.
