Collection: Seat Buffers

Seat buffers - also known as toilet seat buffers, bumper pads, or cabinet buffers - are the small rubber, silicone, or felt pads that prevent hard surfaces from contacting each other, reducing noise, vibration, and surface damage in applications from toilet seats to cabinet doors. At the DIY Hardware Store, our seat buffers cover the self-adhesive and screw-fix rubber and silicone buffer pads used in bathroom and furniture applications.

On toilet seats, buffers prevent the ceramic lid from crashing against the ceramic pan when dropped, protecting both surfaces from chipping and eliminating the sharp impact sound. On cabinet doors, self-adhesive felt or rubber buffers on the door edge or cabinet frame prevent the door from slamming and reduce the noise of everyday cabinet use. These are also used on the underside of heavy objects placed on shelves, tables, and worktops to prevent surface scratching.

Available in clear, white, black, and brown rubber and felt in dome, disc, and pad formats at the DIY Hardware Store, in packs covering the most common buffer sizes and applications.
