Collection: High Load Loose Bolt Anchors

For the most demanding masonry fixings - structural bracket mounting, heavy equipment anchoring, facade fixing, and high-load applications where a standard wall plug would be wholly inadequate - a high-load loose bolt anchor (also known as a through-bolt or expansion anchor) provides the rated pull-out and shear resistance needed to fix safely and permanently into concrete, brick, and stone. At the DIY Hardware Store, our high-load loose bolt anchors are available in the sizes and grades used in construction and engineering applications.

A loose bolt anchor is installed by inserting the anchor sleeve into the drilled hole, positioning the item to be fixed over the anchor, and inserting and tightening the bolt. The tightening action draws a cone up into the sleeve, forcing the expansion segments outward to grip the masonry wall of the hole with significant clamping force. The connection is rated for pull-out, shear, and combined loading, making these anchors appropriate for structural fixings that standard plugs simply cannot achieve.
