Collection: Curtain Wire

For net curtains, voile panels, cafe curtains, and any lightweight window covering that needs to span a window without a visible pole or track, curtain wire is the understated solution. At the DIY Hardware Store, our curtain wire kits provide plastic-coated steel tension wire with the hook and eye fittings needed to create a neat, taut suspension line across a window recess.

Curtain wire is tensioned between two hook-and-eye fittings screwed into the window frame or reveal at each side, with the wire threaded through a channel or rod pocket in the curtain heading. The low-profile fittings at each end mean virtually nothing interrupts the fabric or the view. Standard kits include wire, two hook eyes, two tension ends, and a length adjuster. Multiple wires can be run in parallel for double or triple net arrangements.
