Speedfit Plastic Fittings

Speedfit push-fit fittings are the original and market-leading plastic push-fit plumbing system that allows copper and plastic pipe to be joined in seconds without any tools, heat, or solder - just push the pipe into the fitting and it's locked in place and sealed. At the DIY Hardware Store, our speedfit plastic fittings cover the elbows, tees, straight couplings, stop ends, and valve connections used in domestic hot and cold water and central heating plumbing installations.

The speedfit system uses a grab ring inside the fitting that bites onto the pipe outer diameter when it's inserted, and an O-ring that creates the watertight seal. The connection is demountable - a release collar allows the fitting to be disconnected without cutting the pipe, by pressing the collar against the fitting body while pulling the pipe out. This makes speedfit ideal for domestic plumbing work where future access may be needed, and for DIY installations where a blowtorch isn't available or appropriate.

Compatible with 15mm and 22mm copper pipe and barrier pipe at the DIY Hardware Store, with insert stiffeners required for plastic pipe to prevent the grab ring from deforming the pipe end.
