Collection: Hose Clips

A hose clip - also known as a jubilee clip or hose clamp - is the mechanical fastener that holds a hose, pipe, or sleeve firmly onto a spigot, nipple, or barb fitting, preventing leakage and accidental disconnection under pressure. At the DIY Hardware Store, our hose clips are available in the worm-drive stainless steel format used across automotive, plumbing, marine, and general engineering applications.

The worm-drive clip works by tightening a perforated steel band around the hose via a worm gear screw, compressing the hose material evenly around the fitting underneath. When tightened to the correct torque, it creates a leak-free seal that resists both internal pressure and external pull. The band diameter is adjustable within a range, making each clip suitable for a range of hose outer diameters rather than a single fixed size.

Applications include coolant hoses on vehicles, washing machine inlet hoses, garden irrigation pipe connections, marine exhaust and water hoses, and industrial pipe joints. Available in standard steel and all-stainless versions at the DIY Hardware Store, with packs covering the most commonly used diameter ranges for domestic and automotive applications.
