Collection: Hexagon Fullnuts

The hexagon full nut is the standard metric nut used in the vast majority of bolted mechanical and structural connections. At the DIY Hardware Store, our hexagon full nuts are available across the metric size range most commonly encountered in engineering, construction, and general DIY - from M3 miniature fastening through to M16 structural bolt connections.

The full nut (as opposed to a thin or half nut) provides maximum thread engagement depth, making it the correct choice for load-bearing connections where the full clamping force of the bolt and nut system needs to be developed without risk of thread stripping. Standard hex flats allow the nut to be driven with an open-ended spanner, ring spanner, or socket, in sizes specified by the ISO metric standard. Available in zinc-plated steel for general use and stainless steel (A2 and A4 grades) for corrosion-sensitive applications.
