Hot Bed Handles

Hot bed handles are the heat-resistant, insulated pull handles used on oven doors, barbecue lids, kiln doors, hot plate covers, and other appliances or equipment that operate at elevated temperatures where an uninsulated metal handle would present a burn risk. At the DIY Hardware Store, our hot bed handles are available for the replacement and new-fit applications most commonly needed in domestic and light commercial cooking and heating equipment.

The handle body is typically constructed from phenolic resin, bakelite, or a high-temperature-rated polymer that remains cool to the touch even when the fixture it's attached to is operating at cooking or baking temperatures. Screw-through fixing allows the handle to be replaced without specialist tools when the original becomes brittle, cracked, or otherwise damaged through repeated heating and cooling cycles.
