Push On Terminals

Push-on terminals - also known as quick-connect or disconnect terminals - are the male and female spade terminal pair used for fast, tool-free wiring connections in automotive, appliance, and low-voltage electrical applications. At the DIY Hardware Store, our push-on terminals cover both the male and female insulated versions in the colour-coded wire gauge sizes used in standard automotive and 12V/24V electrical installations.

Male push-on terminals are crimped onto the wire and present a flat blade that inserts into the female terminal - the result is a fast, secure connection that can be disconnected by pulling apart without cutting any wire. This makes them the standard connector for wiring harness assemblies in vehicles, appliances, and any installation where components may need to be disconnected for service access. The insulated sleeve on both male and female versions protects the crimped joint from short circuits and physical damage.
