Nylon Frame Anchors

Nylon frame anchors - also known as frame packers or frame fixing anchors - are the plastic wedge-profile components used to level, align, and support door frames and window frames during installation before the permanent fixings are driven. At the DIY Hardware Store, our nylon frame anchors cover the standard packer sizes used for setting door frames plumb and square in masonry and timber openings.

Frame packers are inserted between the frame section and the rough opening at the required positions to bring the frame to the correct height, level, and plumb orientation before the frame fixings are driven. Being plastic (nylon or polypropylene), they're rot-proof, waterproof, and dimensionally stable - unlike timber offcuts, which were the traditional packing material and which can compress, rot, or shrink over time, causing the frame to move after installation. Multiple packers can be stacked to achieve any required thickness, and they can be cut to width if needed.
